Hello,

 

My name is Felek Yoğan. I am a psychoanalyst and clinical psychologist. I briefly would like to highlight some points about my background and professional experiences.

I graduated from the Psychology Department of Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2013 and got my bachelor's psychology degree. After graduation, I started to study for the master's program called Aging and Health, which was set up under the Psychology Department of Istanbul University. Thus, I earned my first master's degree certificate in 2016. In the meantime, as I wanted to go further in my clinical studies, I started to study for METU Clinical Psychology Master's Program in 2015. In 2017, I earned my clinical master's degree certificate. In 2017, I started to study at METU Clinical Psychology Doctorate Program to become more competent in my field of studies. In 2022, I also earned my Ph.D. certificate. The academic training I received in the fields of clinical psychology and health has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of human psychology and mental health.

I have been actively working in psychology since 2016, and I have adopted a psychoanalytic orientation in my therapy sessions. As a psychoanalyst, I engage in analytical sessions based on Lacanian Psychoanalysis.

I have been conducting individual sessions with adolescents and adults in Turkish and English, online and face-to-face. I have been working to improve any complaints, symptoms, disorders, diagnoses, and structures that my clients suffer from. My profession requires regular and continuous effort, and I care about adding value to myself in this direction. For this reason, to handle the issues that come up in the clinic comprehensively and add value to the lives of my clients, I regularly attend training and events in my field. I have been reading and joining the discussions with my colleagues.

 

I also have been studying in international work groups. I am an active member of the International Association of Lacanian Psychoanalysis (Association lacanienne internationale – ALI, France) and the Freud-Lacan Psychoanalysis Association (Turkey), and I contribute to field studies.
